Career Highlights

2016 and 2020 Olympic champion in team… 11-time World champion (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019)… Four-time European Champion (2014, 2016, 2021)… Former soloist in the junior category… Won gold in that event and in team at the 2010 and 2012 Junior World Championships… Won two golds as well at the 2013 Summer University Games.

2022Did not compete internationally after FINA banned athletes from Russia and Belarus from its competitions due to the nations’ involvement in the invasion of Ukraine and the breach of the Olympic Truce… Did compete domestically in solo at the Russian Cup.

2021: Olympic Gold medalist in the team event in Tokyo… Won gold in technical team at the European Championships… Also swam in that event at the third World Series stop in Kazan.

2020Did not compete internationally due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of all meets.

2019: Won three gold medals at the 2019 FINA World Championships in technical team, free team and free combination… Won the technical and free team events at the European Cup in St. Petersburg and helped the team qualify to the 2020 Olympics… Competed as part of the technical and free team routines all season, and won gold in both at the Russian Nationals (ASWS #3) and the Spanish Open (ASWS #8).

2018: Missed the season due to a knee injury.

2017: Two-time World champion in technical and free team in Budapest, Hungary.

2016: Olympic Gold medalist in the team event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil… Two-time European champion (technical team, free combination) in London.
