This meet serves as an Olympic qualifier for the Asian continental quotas. The top team with the best combined results (technical + free + acrobatic) will earn a spot to the Paris 2024 Games. Its duet will also automatically qualify. Another quota is available in the duet event. The top pair with the best combined results (technical + free) not yet qualified through the team will earn a spot to the Paris 2024 Games.
Participating nations are: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Kazakhstan, Macau, North Korea, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Uzbekistan.
