This meet serves as an Olympic qualifier for the American continental quotas. The top team with the best combined results (technical + free + acrobatic) will earn a spot to the Paris 2024 Games. Its duet will also automatically qualify. Another Olympic ticket is available in the duet event. The top pair with the best combined results (technical + free) not yet qualified through the team will earn a spot to the Paris 2024 Games.
Eight teams and 12 duets have qualified to this competition: Argentina (duet), Aruba (duet), Brazil (duet, team), Canada (duet, team), Chile (duet, team), Colombia (duet, team), Costa Rica (duet), Cuba (duet, team), El Salvador (duet, team), Mexico (duet, team), Uruguay (duet) and the USA (duet, team).
