2025 Artistic Swimming World Cup Calendar Announced

World Aquatics has released the schedule for the 2025 Artistic Swimming World Cup circuit. As usual, it includes four stops — three regular competitions and one Super Final — and will be held across four continents.

The first World Cup event will be held in France before heading to Egypt and Canada. The Super Final will be hosted in the Chinese city of Xi’an in June.

The 2025 World Cup schedule is as follows:

  • February 28 – March 2: #1 in Paris, France.
  • April 11 – 13: #2 in Hurghada, Egypt.
  • May 1 – 3: #3 in Markham, Canada.
  • June 13 – 15: Super Final in Xi’an, China.

The elite season will open early with the Paris World Cup, which will this time not be held in the Olympic Aquatics Centre. Instead, it will return to the Georges Vallerey pool, where the 2020 and 2022 editions were already held. The venue underwent extensive renovations for the Olympic Games and served as a training facility during Paris 2024.

In April, the World Cup circuit then heads back to Hurghada, a city which successfully hosted its first event back in 2023. Then, for the third year in a row, Markham will host a World Cup event, this time at the beginning of May.

Finally, Xi’an will host the Super Final mid-June, where the top 12 in each event category after the first three stops will be eligible to compete. While China is a regular host of artistic swimming events, including the first stop of last year’s World Cup circuit in Beijing, it will be the first time Xi’an is a host.

Other major senior events on the 2025 calendar are the World Championships in Singapore from July 18 – 25, and the European Championships from May 25 – 28. The location hasn’t been announced yet.

The 2025 competition calendar can be found here, and will be updated frequently over the coming weeks.
